📌 About MPPSC Exam

The MPPSC State Service Exam is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission to recruit officers for key administrative posts in the state, including:

  • Deputy Collector
  • Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)
  • Commercial Tax Officer
  • Tehsildar
  • Block Development Officer (BDO)
  • Chief Municipal Officer

This exam is conducted in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective type)
  2. Main Examination (Descriptive/Written)
  3. Interview / Personality Test

🟡 MPPSC Prelims Syllabus 2025

The Prelims Exam is the first and qualifying stage. It consists of two papers, both objective in nature (MCQs).

Paper I: General Studies

This paper tests your knowledge across a wide range of general topics, with a special emphasis on Madhya Pradesh-specific content.

Paper II: General Aptitude Test

This paper tests your logical reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills. It is qualifying in nature but crucial for selection.

  • Basic Numeracy (Class 10 Level)

🔸 Duration: 2 hours
🔸 Nature: Objective

💡 Both papers are qualifying but form the gateway to Mains. You must clear Prelims to be eligible for the Mains exam.

The Mains Examination is descriptive and more in-depth. It tests your understanding, expression, and ability to analyze issues critically.

Write three essays:

  2. Madhya Pradesh-related issue
  3. General or philosophical theme

Each essay must be written in 1000–1200 words.
